Prayers for work

I've started a new job and due to some city problems the shop is not able to open yet. I'm asking for prayers to help the location open on time next Friday.
In other news things went great for my friend in, court, our Prayers to the risen Lord Jesus worked!

Praying for a friend

I have a good friend who is going to court today for custody hearing, I ask that the Lord watch out for her and help the judge come to the ideal decision. In Jesus name all things are possible

A good friend of mine who I love very much has gotten sick. Part of her disease is self inflicted and she seems to have lost the will to care or want to live. I ask the Risen Lord Jesus Christ to heal not just her body but also her mind and soul. The Lord has given us so much and has asked us for so little in return, I ask you all to pray for my friend and help her overcome the demons inside her that make her think she is worth less. Thankful

I'm on my lunch break at work and I'm so thankful to the risen Lod Jesus Christ for everything I have all the help he has given me through my life. In his name all things are possible.

Please Pray

A friend of mine was recently in a bar fight and one of those involved in the fight is now in a coma and might die. I pray that our Risen Lord awakes this man from his coma and heals him of the physical damage that is body has incurred. We know that all things are possible with the healing power of our Lord Jesus, who gave his life for our sins so we could know eternal life with him. I could also use prayers for myself, I have had a tough time with life recently but still feel so grateful for all the things Jesus has blessed me with. My church Ecclessia could also use some prayers, things have been difficult since our pastor has left. We need the Lord's direction. If anyone has any prayer requests please contact me.

Prayers

I'm asking for some prayers for my friend who is currently in jail, the charges are not super serious, but there is a chance he will be there a few days. My friend also has a problem with alcohol and a few days in jail might put his body into shock. Pray the Lord brings him through this ordeal unharmed and stronger. Please pray for me also, I'm still very low on money have not heard back about any jobs. I'm trying to keep my faith strong and follow our risen Lord. Please also pray for my church Ecclesia, our congeration is currently searching for a new pastor to lead us. Please also pray for my friend's sister, she is not doing good. In your name all things are possible. Amen

Still Praying

My life is moving along a path that is not where I would like it to be. I'm not afraid because I know the Lord is watching out for me and many voices are praying for my safety and success. I ask for continual prayer, I have ran out of money and can't afford the rent where I'm currently staying. If I live I also need money since my car has broken down and I can't drive it. Life has became very interesting to say the least. Please continue to pray for me brothers and sisters in Christ like I pray for you. In our Risen Father's name all things are possible. Amen

In need of Help but very hopeful

I'm pretty broke at the moment. I've had moments in my life where I have had less money but most of those times I knew where my next paycheck was coming. I can't say that right now. With all these things piling on my head I still know that our Lord who took the cross for our sins loves me more than the bird who nevers worry about sowing or saving. I thank the Lord for all the blessings he has given me. If you pray please pray for me, I've had several job interviews in the last few weeks but have still not heard any thing. Tried a new church yesterday

Yesterday I wasn't able to make it Hollywood to attend service at Ecclesia, my home church. I live in Highland Park at the moment right next door to Freedome Church. While walking home from the store I saw a sign for the churches service at 6pm. So I decided to check it out. The service was nice and we performed communion. I enjoyed it and hopefully I can stop in again. I believe they also have a Chatsworth location.  Please email me any prayer requests you my have. In his name all things are possible.

Updates

Steve my good friend's dad told me a little more about his cancer today. The cancer started as a lump he felt in his throat. He went to the doctor and found out it was cancer. I told him I would pray for him as he starts his three month treatment. Let's pray that our Risen Lord cures Steve of the cancer and brings him back to full health. In his name all things are possible, Amen.

I just found out my good friend Shaun's father Steve has Cancer, please pray for him.  Nothing is too difficult for our Risen Lord Jesus Christ and all is possible with his Love.

Prayer requests

I met a young man (Stanley) on the gold line in Los Angeles this last weekend. Stanley is homeless and completely covered in tattoos. He has faith in our Risen Lord though and is trying to get into a program at Victory Christian Outreach in Hollywood. Stanley is not doing good, I ask that we all pray for Stanley, pray that the Lord blesses him with a path that gets him where the Lord wants him. Also buy him lunch if you see him, I'm sure he would appreciate it.

Grateful for today

I feel very blessed by our Risen Lord Jesus Christ today :))) It's a beautiful sunny day in Los Angeles and I feel like the Lord is just blasting doors open for me! I've been going through allot lately and even though I have not solved all my problems I just feel very happy. I don't think God ever wanted us to worry, when he made us it wasn't in the original model. I always think of the bird who's never even thought about going to a fast food place to eat, and how much more does the Lord love us than that bird. Please contact me if you have any prayer requests :))) If you get a chance please pray for my new car to be able to pass smog! I only ask because I know faith can lift mountains and throw them in the ocean. Peace be with you my brothers and sisters in Christ.

1st Day Sober

Today is my first day of sobriety. I'm starting a 12 week study and I'll be paid the longer I'm sober. I'm praying for the Lord to help me on this journey that I'm about to take. I'm also praying that I don't look for satisfaction elsewhere, whether that's overeating or trying to get laid from strange women. Prayers always help, and if anyone has any prayer requests please let me know.

Praying

Please pray for my friend Karis's son, he has been having some stomach issues. We pray that the Lord cures him of what ails him. In the Lord's name all is possible, Amen!

Please pray for me I'm about to enter a drug program. I'm hoping this will help me with my addiction.

Quick prayer request for Emily who is fighting to get better in surgical ICU. We pray that the Lord cures her of what ails her and gets her back to her family safe and sound. In his name all things are possible, AMEN!

Sad news and prayers

I learned today that my former roommate Rick passed away a few days ago. Anyone familiar with my blog knows about the falling out I had with Rick a few months ago. Even with all that I had still been praying for him whenever I got the chance. I'm not sure what finally took him but I'm assuming it was due to complications from diabetes. If you have diabetes praying will help but you also have to watch what you eat. Rick had a strong faith in the Lord and I know he was expecting this to happen sooner than later, it's sad he was only 46. 

I also wanted to ask for some prayer requests for all the homeless people here in Los Angeles. It was raining tonight and it has been very cold in the city over the last few months. A few of the churches in Hollywood have gotten together for Winter Refuge, basically a sanctuary for homeless people to come, eat and have a place to stay.

If anyone has any prayer requests please let me know and don't forget that all things are possible in his name, AMEN!!

Thankful to the Lord

Two weeks ago I was in a very bad place. Today I can say I'm very blessed! In the last week I started a new part time job, made some money writing and got a car. I have not had a car since March of 2012, it's very exciting all these doors that our Risen Lord has opened for me.
In prayer news my friend has returned from China safely. I mentioned that my home town in Alaska (Valdez) had been cutoff from the rest of the state by an avalanche. Well good news the road is suppose to be opened today. Everyone survived thanks for all the prayers!! Please send me any prayer requests you may have.

Pray for Valdez Alaska

My home town of Valdez Alaska is cut off from the rest of the world. Well not really, but an avalanche has closed the one high way to the outside world. Food is being barged in but the avalanche was next to river and that's caused an ice damn to form. If the damn breaks there is a chance my town could be flooded. Very scary thought! Please pray that the Lord shatters the ice with out any incident and frees my friends and family from their bondage. In his name all things are possible.

Praise to The Lord

I would love to start with some prayer requests. A member of my community group Courtney's aunt just passed away. The family is not super close so hopefully the Lord can bring this family back together. My friend Amber's Uncle is also very sick and couldn't even go to Christmas with the family. I pray that the Lord takes away his pain and heals him. In a prayer update my friend's sister Heidi who had been suffering horribly from Lyme disease is finally starting to feel better. It's so amazing to see the the miracles that our Risen Lord works on a daily basis.

 I personally need some prayers. I'm at a crossroads for work and I need divine intervention. Please pray for me. In his name all things are possible, Amen!

Prayers

My friend Tiffany is currently on a flight to China. Were asking that the Lord keeps her in his hands and safe from danger and other evils. I'm also asking for extra prayers since once she lands in China she has to get on a smaller "hopper" plane. That seems to be the scariest part of the trip for her. In his name all things are possible, Amen.

I am weak

The problems of this fleeting world are dragging me down at the moment. I've felt a heaviness for the last few days. It's making me lazy. I ask the Lord to please take away these feelings and give me energy. I feel very alone O Lord, I've been hiding from your light for so long, I'm so ashamed. Even now I want to go get high so I'll feel a little different. I hate my life, that is sad to say, and stupid. I feel like everything is out of my control at the moment. I'm sorry my Lord Jesus for all my sins and thinking I could control my own world. It's just something I have a tough time letting go of.

Please pray for my friend Lindsey who has a job interview coming up also my friend Marco who has allot on his plate and is still trying.

If anyone is in Hollywood there is great volunteer event through a few local churches. It's called Winter Refuge. Basically the homeless of Hollywood for January and February (the coldest months) get hot meals and an extra place to stay. Tomorrow night my community group will be there cooking dinner and hanging out with the people staying there. Please pray for all those who don't have a warm place to stay tonight. In his name all things are possible.

I have no control

I don't know why I ever think that I'm in control of anything. I have no power what so ever. I've hit rock bottom a few times and I definitely think that I'm right around the same place again. I've turned my back on the path the Lord has made for me so I could go where I wanted. I've also taken out anger that I have for myself on others. I've felt very sad lately and It's because I've been trying to hide from the Lord; just like Adam & Eve I'm ashamed of what the Lord will see. Of course there is no hiding from our Risen father. Please pray for me and if anyone has any prayer requests for me please let me know. I've forgotten please pray for my friend Chris, my boss Ann, her grandmother just passed away, my friend Tracy, he lost some very important items that I pray the Lord helps him recover. In his name all things are possible Amen!

I heard tonight about an earthquake that happened near a friends home town in Puerto Rico, it measured 6.2. Please pray for the safety of everyone who live in that part of the world.

Happy New Year

I would like to wish all my brothers and sisters in Christ a merry Christmas and a happy New Year. I'm praying that the Lord gives us what we need and puts us where he wants us. Please send me any prayer requests you may have! I'm trying to remember an ongoing prayer during these cold months for everyone who is with out a home. I also pray that the Lord will intervene in the Sudan and the horrible atrocities that are going over their. In his name ll things are possible, Amen!
